Candle Making Resources Heading

It’s generally only a matter of time before a candle lover starts getting the itch to make handmade candles themselves. It’s in our creative nature! We admit to delving into the craft ourselves for our own enjoyment as well as for family and friends.

Disclaimer: We are not professional chandlers. The resources and tips we are sharing are what we’ve found useful for the hobby of candlemaking. Use these as an introduction to candle making, but be sure to align yourself with professional chandlers should you want to go into the candle making business.

We are constantly updating our resources, so be sure to check back here often. If you have a resource you think we should have listed, email us for consideration.

Enjoy!

Websites About Candle Making

  • The Spruce Crafts: This is a fragment of the once popular About.com website. When they decided to break up their content into more focused silos, the candle making tutorials understandably ended up on the craft website. There are sooo many excellent informational articles and tutorials on this site – all very well written and easy to follow. Since the candlemaking and soapmaking articles are blended together, it does take a little bit of searching. This is a great site to bookmark!
  • Candle Science: This candle supplier has an excellent DIY section on its site and includes videos, tutorials, and informational articles. Of course the slant is on purchasing the Candle Science products, but the information is solid nonetheless.
